NADIA + BRANDON | COASTAL NORTHLAND WEDDING

Nadia and Brandon had a beautiful beachside wedding in Northland. They wanted the photos to most importantly capture the atmosphere and genuine moments throughout the day.

The morning kicked off with Brandon and his crew getting ready! The groomsmen wore kilts and the groom wore a pair of tartan trousers to honour the bride’s Scottish heritage.

Then it was off to Nadia’s getting ready spot, where we captured a really sweet friend's first look and some of the gorgeous details.

The ceremony was held at a yacht club overlooking the harbour. It was a rainy November day so the marquee was up to keep everyone dry. A few special moments were the Scottish Quaich ceremony performed by the bride’s dad, and the stunning bubble exit!

Family photos were a really important part of the day, with lots of Nadia’s relatives travelling over from Scotland to be at the wedding. So we smashed out over 60 combinations of groups, including a group photo of the 8 kilt wearers.

For the portraits, we headed down to the rocks near the shore, coz there’s nothing like a bit of light rock climbing on your wedding day! I'm so glad Nadia and Brandon were up for a little adventure - we got some absolutely stunning shots at this spot.

After dinner and lots of entertaining speeches, Brandon surprised Nadia by playing a song, they had a beautiful first dance and then everyone took to the dancefloor to celebrate the day!
